RKI data of German cities and counties#

This map shows the Covid-19 data of the Robert Koch Institute for different age groups and gender per city/county in Germany. By moving the mouse you can hover over the map to show the data for the selected region as a tooltip. The colour represents the percentage of infections of persons in the age of 0 to 14.
To be honest, I was very surprised how many kids have been infected already compared to other age groups. Obviously this group is most effected by the virus and we are ignoring this. Especially in the last weeks this number is increasing every day.

Fields shown in the tooltip#

Column Description
GeoID The name of the city (with a leading SK) or county (with a leading LK).
Cases by age: 0-4 The overall number of cases of 0-4 years old since December 31st. 2019.
Cases by age: 5-14 The overall number of cases of 5-14 years old since December 31st. 2019.
Cases by age: 15-34 The overall number of cases of 15-34 years old since December 31st. 2019.
Cases by age: 35-59 The overall number of cases of 35-59 years old since December 31st. 2019.
Cases by age: 60-79 The overall number of cases of 60-79 years old since December 31st. 2019.
Cases by age: 80+ The overall number of cases of 80+ years old since December 31st. 2019.
Cases by gender: female The overall number of cases of women since December 31st. 2019.
Cases by gender: male The overall number of cases of men since December 31st. 2019.
Percent cases by age: 0-14 The percent of cases of 0-14 years old since December 31st. 2019.
Percent cases by age: 15-79 The percent of cases of 15-79 years old since December 31st. 2019.
Percent cases by age: 80++ The percent of cases of 80+ years old since December 31st. 2019.
